Practice News

Practice Pharmacist.

All of our patients who are on repeat medication are expected to have medication reviews at least once a year. These can now be done by our new practice pharmacist, Karen. If you have more than 7 medications on your repeat prescription, please book a double appointment.

Accountable GP.

By the end of June 2016 all patients (including Children) will be assigned a named, accountable GP. We will be informing patients of their named GP during the year by various methods or you can contact the practice if you wish to find out who your named GP is.

If you have a preference for your named GP please let us know and we will make every effort to accommodate this request although you can see any doctor at the practice and not just you’re named GP.

Surname A - M will be assigned to Dr C Chapman

Surnames N - Z will be assigned to Dr R Keogh

We would like to take this time to inform you of all our regular Doctors we have at Earsdon Park Medical Practice.

Dr Rebecca Keogh, Dr Claire Chapman, Dr Rahul Saraf and Dr Sarah Redford.

Patient Group.

We are currently looking for new members to join our Patient Participation group.  Your views and ideas could really make a difference and we are always keen to hear your ideas.  If you would like to join is or for more information, please contact the surgery.

Our next meeting is on Tuesday 1st March at 5pm at Shiremoor resource centre.

Patient Groups are an effective way for patients and GP surgeries to work together to improve services and to promote health and improved quality of care. They are also an effective mechanism for patients to share their feedback with the practice.

If you require any further information please contact Ruth Hutchinson on 01912517139
